Chester "Remus" Heffley was the paternal great-grandfather of Greg, Rodrick and Manny and their paternal cousins,the husband of Gammie Heffley, the grandfather of Frank, Gary Heffley and Joe Heffley and their cousins and also the father of Grandpa, Arthur Heffley, Reba Heffley and probably Loretta Heffley. He was mentioned in The Ugly Truth to have died, his funeral was attended by Lawrence Heffley through a webcam.
