Chester "Remus" Heffley was the paternal great-grandfather of Greg, Rodrick and Manny and their paternal cousins,the husband of Gammie Heffley, the grandfather of Frank, Gary and Joe Heffley and their cousins and also the father of Grandpa, Arthur Heffley, Reba Heffley and probably Loretta Heffley. He was mentioned in The Ugly Truth to have died, his funeral was attended by Lawrence Heffley

 through a webcam. He is seen in the family chart in The Wimpy Kid Do-It-Yourself Book (the extended DIY book) as Remus Heffley.

• It's unknown when he died, what age he died or how he died.
• According to the Do it yourself book he is on the paternal side.
• He is called by his nickname "Remus Heffley" in the The Wimpy Kid Do-It-Yourself Book.
• Although unconfirmed, it is theorised by theorists that Chester "Agent Orange" Heffley may have died from stage four cervical cancer. Whether this was exasperated by his exposure to Agent Orange or not is also unconfirmed.
