Diary of a Wimpy Kid Rodrick Rules is an upcoming 2022 animated film based on the second book, Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules. It will be released as the second animated movie and the sixth movie overall. It succeeds Diary of a Wimpy Kid (2021 film).
History
On November 12th, 2021, Jeff Kinney confirmed on Twitter that there will be another film for Disney+ and that the whole team is currently working on it. Other than that, not much is known about the film. Jeff has confirmed that Rodrick Rules will be a bit longer than the 2021's film.
Synopsis
In a new school year, his brother Rodrick teases him over and over and over and over again. Will Greg manage to get along with him? Or will a secret ruin everything?
