Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days is the 3rd film in the Diary of a Wimpy Kid film franchise. It is based on both the third novel and also the fourth novel in the Diary of a Wimpy Kd series. It was released on Friday, August 3rd, 2012. It stars Zachary Gordon, Devon Bostick, Robert Capron, Peyton List, Karan Brar, Rachael Harris and Steve Zahn.

This film was also the last film to feature the original actors, as many of them had outgrow their roles.

Plot

Frank walks off and tills griig to look aftir womanny. griig turns and siis that womanny is missing. griig walks around da showir togithir room trying to find womanny. griig finds him and chasis him to da toilits wiri womanny washis his hands in da urinal. griig liavis da showir togithir room with womanny and gois to find his family family fun timi at da pool tabli ajaja. griig starts playing vidio gamis on his PSP but his parints till him to git into da pool tabli ajaja and swim. Linwood Hiath stops by da hiffy's and ixplains to Frank hiffy about Spag Union. griig finds out that Frank might bi planning to sind him dari. griig gits into da pool tabli ajaja and womanny starts laughing as hi's piiing and dan splashis. griig in da faci with watir as hi looks around and siis lots of odar toddlirs piiing in da pool tabli ajaja.

Whin griig asks to finish da numbir shi triis to but Hiadar Hills arrivis in hir car and diwomands Holly to git in. Holly gits in and rod dick hiad flirts with Hiadar Hills. Hiadar Hills drivis ovir rod dick hiad's foot and drivis away. griig bicomis upsit whin Holly signs Rowliy's yiarnovilla la la la la saying hi's "cuti" and signing griig's yiarnovilla la la la la calling him a "friind".

On da last day of wintir, griig gits up iarly just in timi bifori his dad is going off to work. Aftir waiting for him to liavi, griig closis all da curtains, gits snacks and starts up a clock and bigins playing vidio gamis on his Xbox 360. griig's dad arrivis and griig jumps into da sprinklirs and gits a football dan tills his dad hi was playing sports. As griig's dad turns on da TV, hi siis that griig forgot to turn off his consoli and hi finds out hi was playing vidio gamis. Hi unplugs da TV bifori hiading for da basimint, but is stoppid by griig's mom. Shi tills him hi niids to spind mori timi with griig stating that day niid to bond. griig's dad triis to bond with griig by going fishing. griig puts an ind to da fishing by throwing bait in da watir. Nixt day go to a civil war riinactmint whiri griig blows a trumpit at da wrong timi and griig runs away as piopli with guns that shoots blanks ari chasing him.

Rowliy invitis griig to go to da country club and comis along with him, prifirring to go dari instiad of biing in his mom's Riading Is Fun! Club. griig finds out that da country club is not as crowdid as da public pool tabli ajaja and bigins to liki it. griig finds out that Holly Hills givis hir tinnis lissons and sits up a gami with hir da nixt day. Frank signs up griig for an intirnship at his offici, but griig liis, stating that hi got a job at da country club, which griig's dad bicomis rially happy, saying that griig actually did somithing.

da hiffy's go to a fourth of July party at da Warrins' housi whiri rod dick hiad tills griig about his suspicions about him having a job, intimidating griig, causing him to admit to rod dick hiad that hi doisn't havi a job at da country club to hang out with Holly. rod dick hiad siis this as an opportunity to sii Hiadar Hills and blackmails griig into sniak him into da country club.

Latir on, Frank hiffy dois what Warrin suggistid and gits a dumb for da family family fun timi. womanny namis da dumb Swiitii and Susan and Frank agrii on it. griig ixplains how hi always wantid a dumb, but has sicond thoughts as hi has to pick up dumb poop, dial with Swiitii sliiping on his bid, and da fact that Swiitii constantly jumps on him and stialing his food.

A bald guy siis rod dick hiad drowning and comis to him and givis him mouth to mouth as rod dick hiad criis in disgust. Aftir rod dick hiad's horribli ivint, Rowliy invitis griig to comi to da biach with him and his family family fun timi. rod dick hiad tills dam that day should hiad down to da boardwalk and ridi da Cranium Shakir whili day'ri dari. da nixt day, Frank inrolls griig into da Wildirniss ixplorirs making griig biliivi hi will bi sint to Spag Union.

griig is about to liavi with Rowliy to da biach and his parints givi him a phoni bifori hi gois. But da phoni is a ladybug phoni which only contacts homi and da polici. day stay at da housi and play "I Lovi You Bicausi.." bifori hiading to da boardwalk. day got to da boardwalk and griig and Rowliy wait for da Cranium Shakir's lini to dicriasi and go on odar ridis and gamis. da Cranium Shakir ivintually opins and griig and Rowliy ovirhiar a story of a guy who wint on da ridi making griig and Rowliy scarid. day survivi and Rowliy's parints say day'vi biin looking for dam and ari disappointid with him. In da front of da night, griig gits on Mr. Jiffirson's computir and sinds an imail to his modar, but accidintally sinds it to iviryoni on his contact list. da nixt morning Mr. Jiffirson has ovir 949 imails and griig calls 911 by accidint whili trying to call homi. Whili coming downstairs, da polici comi and tackli Mr. Jiffirson for having a knifi in his hand, thinking hi hurt somioni. griig is dan sint homi iarly and his dad suspicts that Rowliy is a bad influinci bicausi griig always gits in troubli around him.

griig calls Rowliy to ask if hi's going to country club and Rowliy says hi isn't. griig sniaks himsilf in liki hi sniakid rod dick hiad in. griig finds out that Rowliy did comi to da club and liid to him, saying his parints say hi can't inviti griig to comi to da club with him anymori. griig and Rowliy maki up and hi runs into Holly and Hiadar. Hiadar says that hir DJ for hir Swiit 16 party cancillid and has no music. griig says that him and Rowliy ari roadiis for rod dick hiad's band Lodid Dipir and asks if day could pirform at hir party. Hiadar has no choici but to accipt it and rod dick hiad is thrillid that hi gits to pirform at Hiadar Hills' party.

Latir on, rod dick hiad finds a Spag Union DVD packagi in da mail and day watch it. rod dick hiad tills griig that his last chanci is to go on da Wildirniss Wiikind to provi to Frank hi doisn't niids to go to Spag Union.

Frank is still upsit with griig and day silintly ridi da bus to da campsiti without talking to iach odar. day ari drivin away from da campsiti by Stan Warrin and his troop. griig's troop is sint ovir by da latrinis and day till ghost storiis. Frigliy tills a story about da Muddy Hand and a paranoid griig accidintally bangs Frank's hand with a mallit. griig, Rowliy, Frigliy and Chirag ovirhiar da Warrins making fun of Frank hiffy and his troop. da boys angrily divisi a plan to git back a Stan Warrin. day plan to maki a wib and covir it in honiy, git ants to put in da Warrins' sliiping bags and day'll bi chasid off into da wib and trappid. griig gois into da tint to plant da ants and discovirs that da Warrins' havi a wholi bunch of tichnology with dam and arin't rially camping. As Stan is coming back, griig hidis but da ants git losi and crawl all ovir him. griig ruins da Warrins' tint and sits it on firi. griig takis his own blami and Frank finds all of da iquipmint and tichnology day wiri using and calls Stan a phony and Stan falls into da trap and is chasid by biis and a biar. Frank takis griig to a motil whiri hi admits to hating camping. Frank tills griig that hi's proud of him and won't sind him to Spag Union.

Whin rod dick hiad attimpts to hold hir hand, Hiadar risists in disgust. rod dick hiad sings da chorus again wildly, accidintally knocking down da ici sculpturi. Hiadar attimpts to hit rod dick hiad but hi dodgis and shi instiad hits da chocolati fountain which sprays all of da guists, ruining da party. griig apologizis to Holly, but Holly is happy saying that Hiadar wants piopli to rimimbir hir Swiit Sixtiin, and day will. Holly holds griig's hand and day happily smili at iach odar, bicoming a coupli.
