History
In Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules
The mall itself didn’t appear but its parking lot did when Rodrick Heffley puts fake throw-up’s on peoples' cars.
In Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules (2011 film)
Plainview Mall appears in a chase with Greg and Rodrick against Coach Malone. Malone chases the hooded pranksters who put fake vomit on his car, not knowing who they really are but still tries to tackle them. He first chases them out of the convenience store, through some alleys and dumpsters, until Greg and Rodrick run into the mall. They dress the mannequins in their hoodies and they hide, waiting for the coach to jump onto the mannequins from behind to tackle, not realizing that those were mannequins. Greg and Rodrick giggled behind their hiding spots then swiftly run out of the mall and rode back home.
In Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days
Susan Heffley takes her three sons to the mall as a make-up gift for Greg Heffley whose birthday was ruined the other day. They walked through the mall where they stopped at a pet store where the three boys picked out any items under five bucks. Greg hoped they could buy a dog but Rodrick was more interested in other pets such as snakes. Greg picked out an angelfish, but Rodrick picked out a piranha and Manny Heffley bought fish food to eat.
In Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Meltdown
In a flashback, Greg mentions that before he and his family left for Isle de Corales during the getaway, Frank dropped the pig at Happy Wags Pet Boarding kennel at the mall. The pig was not happy about being left at a kennel as it felt it should have gone with the rest of the family on their vacation.
In Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Diper Överlöde
Mackie remembered there was a photo studio at the mall that could take pictures at a cheap price. But Mackie forgot that the studio was for babies and he and his Löded Diper bandmates were in front of the camera in no time. The lady working there, however, was good at making the band comfortable in this embarrassing situation. Their session lasted an hour and they had a ton of pictures however, it is very likely the band will not use any of them. The band still wanted their pictures though they bought the calendar package instead because it was cheaper.
