Frew is a child prodigy and Greg's partner in the Homework Buddies Program. He appears in Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Old School.
Personality
As Greg mentions, he is very smart because of reading college textbooks and scientific journals. Greg often leaves his homework to him, but this makes him end up in harder classes. Frew is a fast worker and can get many pages of homework done in 15 minutes.
Apparently Frew is forced to become smart, since his parents make him wake up every morning at 5 A.M. to study. He cannot do normal things like play laser tag because his parents say it is "a waste of time". It is possible that he could have been making up a sob story as he actually enjoys his work.
Trivia
- Greg mentions that Frew is in third grade, making him probably either 8 or 9 years old. However, due to Frew's apparent intelligence, it is likely he could have been placed ahead, meaning he could be even younger than 8 or 9.
