Sherlock Sammy

Sherlock Sammy, known as Encyclopedia Brown Diary of a Wimpy Kid online, is the titular character of the Sherlock Sammy characters. He is a child detective who exposes criminals. As Greg writes in Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Last Straw, Sherlock Sammy charges only a nickel to investigate a crime.

In Diary of a Wimpy Kid online and Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules, Greg chooses Sherlock Sammy Does It Again for a book report, writing that Sammy does the same thing in every story.

In Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Last Straw, it is revealed that Alex Aruda has read the series.

Trivia

• In Rodrick Rules, Sherlock Sammy has a striped shirt, but in the online book (displayed below), he has a black shirt.
• He is probably named after Sherlock Holmes because both of them solve mysteries.
• The online name, "Encyclopedia Brown", is based off of a real book.
