Mr. Ira (also known as Mr. Beardo in the online version) is a teacher at Greg's school. In the first book, he is made fun of in a comic called Dumb Teachers, in which he is shown to have pooped his pants. He edited Greg Heffley's comic but didn't affect Rowley's comic.
