Mrs. Stringer is the mother of Laurel Stringer and Wesley Stringer and the wife of Mr. Stringer. She is a friend of Susan Heffley. In The Third Wheel, the Stringers come to the Heffley house for dinner, where Greg was volunteered to babysit Wesley, after hearing Mrs. Stringer complain of not being able to find a reliable person for the job. Greg recieved the job, but he was found sleeping in Laurel's bed so Mr. Stringer presumably fired him.
