Mr. Watson is a teacher of Greg who appeared in The Last Straw. Greg once fell asleep on his class and he punished him, but Greg slept in his punishment chair, but didn't wake up on time and woke in Mrs. Lowry's class where he got his first detention as a punishment.

In the online version, he was called Mr. Peters and he used to have Rodrick in his class and also Frank which explained that he had Mr. Peters as an teacher and put everyone to sleep. Greg guesses that Mr. Peters could be possibly around 100 years old. He plays the same role except that in this version, he gives Greg detention instead of Mrs. Lowry.
