Alphabet Groceries is a game which first appeared in The Long Haul. It Is a game where players take turns saying an item one can buy at the grocery store that starts with each letter in alphabetical order. (For example, the first player would say apple, then the next would say banana.) Gameplay continues until players have gone through the whole alphabet or a player can't name an item beginning with the next letter.Susan Heffley decides to play it in the car during the road trip. Greg says "Apple", then Rodrick quits. Greg then says that Manny tends to say the name of an existing fruit but with a different letter at the beginning (e.g. "bapple" or "zapple" for "apple").
