We Three Trees is a song that the school music director of Westmore Middle School, Mrs. Norton, wrote for the school production of "The Wonderful Wizard of Oz". The book does not show all of the lyrics.

We three trees from yonder hill do spy a fair and sweet maiden.
Whilst we're rooted to our spots, in silver slippers she doth trot. (the rest is unseen)
Down the winding yellow road, doth she know to where it goes?
With her dog so small and true, we hope she fares well, yes, we do.
We three trees from yonder glen wish her joy through journey's end.
Trivia
- It is not an actual song in "The Wizard of Oz". It was improvised by Mrs. Norton since she wanted all the kids in the play to have singing roles.
