Valentine's Day Dance is a event that appears in Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Last Straw and Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Third Wheel. It takes place at Westmore Middle School in the night (or in The Last Straw, in the day).

In The Last Straw, Greg prepares for the Dance by wearing clothes to impress Holly Hills. However, because they couldn't get parents to be cheaphones, they place it in the day. Plus the music wasn't cool. The Valentine's Day Dance ended with Greg having Holly without him.

In The Third Wheel, the Valentine's Day Dance is put at night. Instead of Holly, Greg goes to Abigail Brown who just had a breakup with her boyfriend Michael Sampson. The Dance all started with a motocross/wrestling event, however the Funraising Committee shut it down and change it to a Valentine's Day Dance. After they went into Corny's, they see that the theme is at "Midnight at Paris". Then seniors came in to had their meeting. After they settle down, the light turned on, ending the Midnight for the Dance and people who brought T-shirt from the DJ Gary Heffley, they demand to give their money back.

Later, Gary turn the volume up, but the seniors wanted them down. So Uncle Gary turned to 80% and the senior meeting can be heard. After that, the boy went crazy without the girl's. After Micheal turns back, the senior went into the chocolate fountain and helped themselves. Then kids ate from the fountain until one kid lost his contact lense. Then the seniors took over the Dance until 10:00 when Gary change it to the last song. The Valentine's Dance ended with Greg having the chicken pox and Rowley and Abigail becoming a couple, mark to Greg to call Rowley the WORST wingman in history.
