Peter Uteger is a student at Westmore Middle School who appears in Diary of a Wimpy Kid online and Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules. Greg describes him as the only student he knows to have broken the "Last Name Rule," which means that one does worse in school the further down the alphabet their last initial is.
According to Greg, Peter was the smartest boy in their class up until sometime in 5th grade, when some of the other students started teasing him for his initials.
