Mrs. Riser was Greg's teacher in The Last Straw. Greg mentions how he wrote hate letters to everyone in his class for Valentine's Day without signing them. Kids started to complain to Mrs. Riser, so she tried to find the culprit. To make sure he wasn't accused, Greg wrote a card for himself too.
