Mrs. Gupta is the mother of Chirag and wife of Mr. Gupta. She was mentioned only in the online book by Greg. On the secret Santa day at school, she always crosses the $3 limit, which is why Greg always wants to get a gift from Chirag that day.
She is also mentioned, though not by name in The Ugly Truth when Chirag says that he's happy too see his mom home whenever he arrives from school.
