Mr. Ray

Template:Character infoboxMr. Ray (known as Mr. Bertrand in the online version) is a teacher at Greg's school and the monitor of detention. After Greg is given detention for sleeping during class and goes down to Mr. Ray's room to serve detention, he explains the rules of detention and Greg finds out all you do in detention is sit in your seat and wait for it to be over. Eventually, Greg gets so board, he takes out a very sharp pin and stabs it into Mr. Ray's butt, making Mr. Ray faint. Greg, then tells the detention kids they are free to leave, due to Mr. Ray having been knocked out. Greg, then stomps on Mr. Ray's face, making his face bleed and making Mr. Ray beingforced to go to the hospital to get multiple stitches. He was briefly the supervisor of study hall during the Valentine's Day Dance.
