He was surprised that he had decided he will go to this trip because he was guessing that he has never been away from his parents overnight before. He always made a big scene every morning during drop-off time at school when he was in second grade. He has such a strong grip on his mom and held her tightly because he didn't want his mom to leave until a vice principal comes down to peel them apart. Greg mentioned that he figured he decided to go on his own for this trip but when he remembered the scene at the school this morning that he started to wonder if his mom had actually tricked him into it. He was shocked that his mother tricked him and drove off after she dropped her son off in school for [[Hardscrabble Farms]] camp trip. Apparently Julian wets the bed. Julian and his cabinmates were struggling to do an obstacle course made with ropes. He couldn't untie his knot between [[Emilio Mendoza|Emilio]] and [[Greg]] because he knotted the rope too tightly. And that wasn't good because his cabinmate [[Timothy Ames]] wanted to use the bathroom in the cabin. His cabinmate, [[Jordan Lankey]] checks his head to see if there is a tick on it.
