In Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Long Haul
Greg and Rodrick Heffley, along with their father went and ate fried butter on a stick. Their mother, however, told them not to eat because she dislikes unhealthy food. After about an hour of walking the fairgrounds, their father went to the car to see if Manny was awake yet.
Greg and Rodrick came across a tent. Inside of it was the Foulest Footwear contest. Waiting in line to participate, both of them argued about who should get the prize, which led to a compromise at the end of their argument. Rodrick wins the contest, and his shoe was sent to the national competition. Additionally, he earned a free butter on a stick because of the coupon he won. Greg told Rodrick the prize he could have for himself because the thought of eating more butter made Greg feel slightly nauseous.
In the livestock area, Manny guessed 243.1, which was the correct weight of the hog. He won a baby pig, and the judge was not allowed to have it returned to him despite attempts by his mother to tell him that she did not want the pig. After this, they drove away.
