Personality
As Greg mentions, he is very smart because of reading college textbooks and scientific journals. Greg often leaves his homework to him, but this ends him up in harder classes.
Frew is forced to become smart, since his parents make him wake up every morning at 5 A.M. to study. He cannot do normal things like play lazer tag because his parents say it is "a waste of time"
