Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days is a 2012 upcoming film. It was not completely sure the movie would be made until Zachary Gordon (Greg), said they would probably start filming in August 2011. Plot

School is out, and Greg Heffley is ready for an awesome summer--except something goes wrong. When his plans for a fun summer get ruined, he must find something to do to make the summer tolerable--will he have to spend the long, boring summer with his family?

In an interview, Devon Bostick said that The Last Straw could be in the works and is "90% sure it will happen" depending on the success of Rodrick Rules.[4] here is one photo that Gordon posted on his Facebook page showing, Himself (Gordon), Capron, List and MacNeil, together on set.
