Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days (film) is a 2012 upcoming film. It was not completely sure the movie would be made until Zachary Gordon (Greg), said they would probably start filming in August 2011. The movie will be released on August the 3rd in the USA. The movie might also be rated "PG". It will mostly star, Zachary Gordon, and Steve Zahn. The film will wrap up Greg's 7th grade. The film is also set to be combined with The Last Straw.
Plot
It is not known yet what the film will be most of, but as the other films had the plot of the book they were based on and a little from the books sequel, the film is most possible to do the same. Producers and writers are also planning on writing the script, and they claimed they needed a casting for Alex Aruda who is rumored that he would be in the next film.
