Alex Aruda is the smartest kid in Greg Heffley's Class. Greg would always copy off of him. He also re-appeared in The Last Straw as in got Greg and the others stuck in their "recess" problem. mainly due to him having Mrs.Craig's dictionary and studying for a spelling bee. and that recess punishments doesn't affect Alex barely at all.
