In Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Old School, Susan (Greg's mom) passes a petition with the town for everyone to go voluntarily cellphone free for a single weekend. This petition also requires people to show up to the town cleanup to cleanup the towns park which has gotten in to terrible shape, most notably in the playground equipment.
