Thor Freudenthal was born between 1972 and 1973 in West Germany,he is a German-born film director who directed the the first film,but was replaced by David Bowers for the 2nd and the 3rd films. The only other film he directed is Hotel for Dogs and is currently directing Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters.
