The Monkey is one of the residents of Isla de Corales. He used to be the leader of a troop of monkeys on the island, but was kicked out. He wound up at a bar and people kept buying him drinks. He got mad when he and a group of people in the bar were watching a sports game, then Manny suddenly took the remote and put on a cartoon he likes, then throws the TV remote into the water. He was also a member of the crowd who stampeded into the Wild Side after Greg Heffley accidentally broke down a part of the wall.
