The Monkey is one of the residents of Isla de Corales. He used to be a leader of a pack of monkeys on the island, but was kicked out. He wound up at a bar and people kept buying him drinks. He got mad when he and a group of people in the bar were watching an interesting sports channal and then Manny suddenly takes the remote and he puts on the cartoon he likes causing everyone in the bar to get mad and Manny throws the Tv remote into the water while his show was on so that he can watch his show causing the Heffley family to run away before a riot would happen. He was also one of the people in the crowd who stampeded into the Wild Side after Greg Heffley accidently broke down a part of the wall.
