Stinky won all their matches easily, while Greg claimed it was partly because Stinky was super-humanly strong, and partly because he didn't want to touch him. - When Mr. Underwood tells Greg he's paired up with Stinky, he calls him "Fregley". This is probably why Greg fought Fregley instead of Stinky in the book version.
