Template:InfoCharacter Sonja is a character who was Uncle Gary's fourth wife. She appears in the fifth book, Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Ugly Truth. While at a baseball game, Gary and Sonja saw a plane flying by with a banner that said "Marry me, Sonja?" Gary's girlfriend, thinking that the banner was referring to her, immediately said yes and Gary decided to just go along with it. At the reception for Gary and Sonja's wedding, Gary's best man, Leonard, revealed the real story, and it seems that the banner was meant for a different Sonja.
