Sharif was the student that Vice Principal Roy mistook Chirag Gupta for in Rodrick Rules. Vice Principal Roy made Greg apologize to him for "pretending he didn't exist," and as Greg stated, it was easy to apologize because Sharif was not the victim of the joke.
Trivia
- Many people think that the goon of Bryce Anderson was him, since his looks where quite identical but he has longer hair compared to Sharif, which confuses people into thinking it was him.
- And in the online book, when Sharif is mistaken to be the person that Greg did the joke on, Sharif had shorter hair, while the goon that is thought to be Sharif has longer hair and also a slightly different face.
- It is possible his name is "Sharif Gupta" since he got mistook for Chirag Gupta.
