He was going to do a magic act in the Talent Show with Rowley as his assistant, but after Greg broke Rowley's big toe, he had to fill in for Rowley. Greg complained about being a magician's assistant to Scotty, but Susan said he'd love to do it. Scotty also made him wear a sparkly outfit. In the tryouts, their act is so bad they are the only one not to make the auditions. He does not appear in the movie. Scotty looks oddly like Creighton the Cretin, Greg's comic book character.
