Preston Mudd

Template:InfoCharacter Preston Mudd was a kid and minor character that only appeared in the first book. He was probably a very good athlete and even made "Athlete of the Month" but on the plague, his name was put as P. Mudd. Some boys found out it sounded like, Pee Mud and they start making fun of Preston for it. He hasn't been mentioned since. This caused Greg to believe he shouldn't do the best in gym.In the Popularity List, Preston is put in the 153rd mark above Rowley according to the movie.

Trivia

• If you look closely in the movie, you can see Preston's plaque in the hallways, though, he himself doesn't appear in the movie. But he is reported to be in the movie. He is seen when Greg is about to touch the Cheese Touch (he's lower body is only seen).
• Its unknown for what sports he was made the athlete of the month,however in the online book he was made for doing good in basketball.
