Plants is a book that appears in Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days. While Greg is vacationing with Rowley and his family at Quiet Cove, he asks Rowley's mother what he can do for entertainment, she suggests that he read a book. Greg initially thinks that this is a joke until he sees her handing him Plants.
