Template:Character Mr. Underwood is Greg's Physical Education teacher. In the movie, he is renamed Coach Malone. He has a very little role in the first book, but it's bigger in the film. So far, he has only made an appearance in Diary of a Wimpy Kid and The Last Straw. His role in The Last Straw was a minor but important appearance, where he was walking with Mrs. Mancy to mark the student's dancing abilities in regard as it counted to 20% of P.E. Grades. Not much is clearly known about him, but he does show gratitude to Greg. In the movie, he is played by Andrew McNee. In the movie, he is called Coach Malone.
