Greg notices that his teeth aren't very straight and figures that he musn't have worn braces as a kid. Greg's dad, Frank, first met Mr. Alexander when he took Greg, Rowley and Manny trick-or-treating. Unfortunately, Frank didn't make a very good impression on Mr. Alexander, as Frank thought that his teeth were fake and laughed at them.
