Manny Heffley is Greg Heffley's little brother. He calls Greg "Bubby" throughout the first book. Then, there is a play at Greg's school and when the scene starts, Manny shouts "BUBBY!" and Greg deflects the embarrassment by saying "I think you dropped an apple, Bubby" to another person. He has an overbite and his teeth are far apart. According to Book 1, Manny is a fan of the television show Sesame Street, especially the "C'' is for Cookie" sketch
