Mamadou Montpierre
Gender Male
Age 12
Actor None

Mamadou Montpierre was Greg Heffley's French pen-pal. Greg told him that he will write in English (instead of French) to him, since Greg is not used to writing in French. He has only appeared in the Online book and second book. Greg terminates the relationship with him as Mamadou sent him a picture that he didn't like. However later he regrets not keeping up with his relationship with him and that Greg says he could've gone to France as an exchange student and stay out there for an few years.

Trivia

  • Mamadou's surname is Saint-Pierre in the online version. http://www.funbrain.com/journal/Journal.html?ThisJournalDay=151&ThisPage=4#booktop
  • Although he was supposed to be Greg's pen-pal (implying a positive relationship between the two), the only actual written letter shown in Rodrick Rules involves Mamadou trying to be nice and considerate of Greg, while Greg criticizes his English spelling; ironically, Greg is the one who misspells the word instead of Mamadou.
  • Despite the fact he is about 12, he looks a lot older than Greg in the book, having small facial hair on his mouth.
