The Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade is a parade held in New York City, United States that takes place every Thanksgiving Day since 1924, and celebrates the arrival of the holiday season.

Since 2010, a balloon of Greg Heffley has been flown in the parade, and is now currently in it's second design.

The Greg Heffley Balloons

Two Balloons of Greg have been made ever since his first appearance in the 2010 parade.

The first design features Greg in his classic black and white design, with his black backpack and his original red Journal (The yellow "DIARY" text is however written on both sides of the journal). Greg has his scared expression on his face. This design appeared from 2010 until 2015.

The second design has Greg in a colorful set of winterwear, including Red Ice Skates, a yellow shirt, a blue coat, a set of earmuffs and a green/lime scarf. He still holds his original red Journal and has a more shocked expression on his face. This design has been used since 2016.
