This is a List of books of the series and mainly merchandice of the book, Diary of a Wimpy Kid, created by cartoonist Jeff Kinney. So far there are five official books in the series. It is precceeded by Greg Heffley: The New Adventures.

Films
There are officially two Wimpy Kid films announced. Diary of a Wimpy Kid was released into theaters on March 19th, 2010. The second film was theoretically announced on the blog: "March 20th: Success! The movie did really well at the box office over the weekend. Everyone is hoping this means we'll get to make a sequel. Thanks, everyone, for coming out to see the movie!". On April 3rd, it was announced that Rodrick Rules was being made. Zachary Gorden will return.
