Template:InfoCharacterLionel James is a kid who sat behind Greg in 6th grade, he hasn't been heard since the first book and its unknown what happened to him, he is one of the two boys (other being Chris Hosey) who Greg refers to as "morons" in his famous quote "One day I'll be rich and famous, but for now I'm stuck in middle school with a bunch of morons". Greg shrieked out when teacher said the seats are going to be permanant for a year.Since Lionel has a more mature look and a moustache, he might be older then Greg, implying he might have been held back.
