Template:InfoCharacter Leonard (known as Ron in the online version) was the best friend and best man to Gary Heffley in The Ugly Truth. He retold the story of how Gary indirectly asks Sonja to marry him.

In the online book he plays the same role, but was called Ron. He retold the story of how Linda mistook a flying plane with a banner with "Marry Me Linda?" written on it for another Linda to be the one for her by Gary.
