Kaye Capron is an American actress who played the role of Linda Jefferson in the film adaptation of Diary of a Wimpy Kid. She is also the mother of Robert Capron, the actor of Rowley Jefferson in real life. Browen Smith replaced her in the film adaptation of Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days as she was a self proclaimed not "a good actress." This information can also be found in The Wimpy Kid Movie Diary. It should be noted her husband also appears in the movie as well. She was chosen to act in this role when they didn't have any actors for the role.
