==Overview==
She has made an appearance in [[Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules|Rodrick Rules]] and [[Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Last Straw|The Last Straw]], and is briefly mentioned in the credits to one of [[Greg]]'s many comics in [[Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules|Rodrick Rules]]. She was once [[Greg Heffley|Greg Heffley's]] crush, and he tried to do everything to make her notice him, until it failed when she mistakenly called him [[Fregley]] because [[Greg]] was wearing his Backup Glasses, which [[Greg]] took as an insult. Later, while signing the yearbooks, she writes a note to [[Greg]] saying that "He's Ok". She had a slumber party in this book.
 
She likes [[Rowley Jefferson]], because she thinks that he is "cute" and prefers his silliness over [[Greg]]'s flirting. This is true since she wrote a note in [[Rowley]]'s yearbook saying that he's funny and cute. [[Greg]], however, attempts to break this by writing a note to Holly, but what it has caused to her remains unknown so far''.''
 
She does not make an appearance in [[Dog Days]], but is mentioned by [[Greg]] when he sees her sister [[Heather Hills]]. It appears that her [[Heather Hills|sister]] works as a lifeguard at the Town Pool.
 
Holly is mentioned in [[Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Ugly Truth|The Ugly Truth]], when [[Greg]] shows online pictures of people, two of the pictures looks like pictures of Holly Hills' slumber party from [[Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Last Straw|book three]]. In another odd occurrence, when they do the egg parenting assignment & the Lock-In, a girl that looks exactly like Holly and possibly is appears.
 
Holly also makes a small cameo on page 120 of [[Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Cabin Fever|Cabin Fever]] when Greg gives dummies as his secret Santa.

Holly also appears in the film adaptation of [[Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules (film)|Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules]], which debuted on March 25, 2011. Holly first moved to Greg's hometown because her father got a premotion. Greg first meets her at a roller skate party, where he imediatly falls in love with her, but is told by both Rodrick and Chirag that she is out of his leauge.
 
Throughout the movie, Greg tries his best to win her over, but to no avial, she even calls him Fregly much to his dismay. When Greg and Rodrick both spend the weekend at the retirment home, Greg runs into Holly, and she apologises for calling him Fregly, and they have a conversation and find out they have a lot in common.
 
Near the end of the movie, Greg finds out Holly is at a talent show audiance. When Rowley needs a partner for his magic act, Greg at first refuses, but decides to go through with it if Rodrick is allowed to play his rock gig. After the show, Holly tells Greg his preformance was great.
 
In the third movie, she is shown to be a friend of Patty's. One of Greg's summer goals was to spend time with her over the summer and asks her to sign his year book. She does so and even sarts to write her phone number, but is pulled away. 
 
When Greg is invited to the local country club, he finds out Holly's been giving tennis lessons to little kids. Greg and Rowley play a game agianst Holly and Patty, but it becomes painfully obvious Greg and Rowley don't know the first thing about tennis. Holly personally teaches Greg.
 
Later, Holly's antagonistic older sister Heather, is stressing about her upcoming sweet sixteen. Greg offers her a band gig from Loaded Diper, passing them off as a world famous rock band.
 
On Heather's birthday, Rodrick ends up runing the party after covering Justin Beiber's "''Baby''". When Greg tries to apologise, Holly say's her sister deserved it and out of no where holds his hand. possibly becoming an offical couple.
 
==Appearance==
Holly's appearance is thought to be overly attractive, the way [[Greg]] depicts her. She is colored black and white, like everybody else in the book. Her notable features include a round, largely sized diamond earring, an ear with an arrow depicted as the insides, she has light colored hair that sits nicely on her shoulders and a skirt that covers her knees. In the movie, she has long, wavy golden-blonde hair, hazel-green eyes and is taller than Greg. She has done professional modeling, therefore she knows how to show herself off.
