The Giving Tree guy is a person that appears in Diary of a Wimpy Kid and Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Cabin Fever. Susan and Greg goes in a buys a red wool jacket. Later, the Giving Tree guy gets Twisted Wizard and Greg only gets the wool jacket. He then found out that Santa trded his game for the wool jacket, whatever or not, he gives up on all present and march to Rowley's house.
In Cabin Fever, it show that he can get Thanksgiving can, too. Greg's family barely starve to death because Greg gave almost all the can to his house.
