Template:Infobox-Character Gerald is a cousin from Susan's side of the family who, according to Greg, lives all the way out in California. Apparently, Gerald live with the Heffleys for a few months right after Greg was born and even helped changed Greg's diapers. He only appeared in Hard Luck. However, he doesn't appear in The Third Wheel, when Greg is recalling his birth and the events thereafter.
