Gary Heffley
Template:InfoCharacter Gary Heffley[1], more commonly referred to as, "'Uncle Gary", is the uncle of Greg Heffley. Not much is known about him, apart from the fact that he was mentioned in book 3, where Greg had to go to his wedding. He is heavily featured in The Ugly Truth, as he is getting married for the fourth time to a woman named Sonja. But at their wedding Leonard stands up and says that when Gary and Sonja were watching a baseball game while they were dating Gary though of breaking up with her and start dating her sister instead,but before he could do that a plane flew with a banner saying "Marry Me Sonja?" Sonja reacted to it thinking it was from Gary,but Leonard said there must've been someother guy with a girlfriend named Sonja but Gary was afraid the guys around his seat would beat him if he lets Sonja down,after hearing this Sonja got angry with Gary might have divorced him because she isn't seen with him in Third Wheel,so they 've possibly divorced. In 'The Third Wheel' Gary moves in with Greg after borrowing his brothers money to buy a Boston souvenir stand. When Frank sends the money, Gary buys the business before realising that Boston is spelled Botson. At Gregs dance, Gary sells the T-Shirts in the dark Paris-Themed room. When the elderly turn on the lights, Gary loses his money. A home, one of Gary's scratchcards has won him 40,000 dollars, so he wishes Greg luck in his love life and moves out.
In the online version, Gary is not married to Sonja, but to a woman named Linda instead. Besides that, everything is likewise as the book. His best man, Leonard, is also named Ron, in the online version. He is 35 years old today, even though he appears to be 15-19 years old. He has a son named Benjy and bob is 15.

- When Uncle Joe and Frank Heffley tell Greg he needs to start thinking about his future, he comments himself as more of an "Uncle Gary kind of guy".[2]
- Uncle Gary 4 wedding is mention by Greg saying "married something like four times already" and adding "he's an EXPERT on relationship" even so he fails to marry someone.
