Fregley is a widely unpopular student at Greg's school, and is a minor antagonist in the series. According to the movie, he is placed 201st on the popular list (the bottom) and Greg is very uncomfortable around him. Fregley cannot eat sugary foods, since he becomes very hyper when he does. So far, Fregley's last name remains unknown. Some people believe that Farley is his last name, but it isn't proven yet so far. So far, he appeared in every book except Rodrick Rules. This has since become a great interest to many fans, but it will likely to be answered later.

Personality

Fregley is the most repulsive character in the series, always hanging in his front yard doing a wide range of silly activities, such as stabbing a kite with a stick, talking to Greg about a lot of disgusting topics, such as his hygiene and his scab, much to Greg's dismay. In Diary of a Wimpy Kid, it is revealed that he shouts, "Juice, juice!" when he needs to use the restroom; teachers often view this literally and often end up giving him juice.

Appearance

Fregley is illustrated with glasses, a wide-open mouth, a black shirt and a scarf in Greg's journals.

Relationships

Greg Heffley

Greg emphatically is not at all fond of Fregley. Fregley offers to talk to Greg about various strange topics, and offers to play absurd games with him, such as "Diaper Whip", one of which totally makes Greg unhappy. In Dog Days, Susan invites him to Greg's house, only to end up in a huge conflict. Greg notes down "I think his parents own an electrical fence or something."

• In the online book, it is stated that Fregley knew Greg since kindergarten.
• In the online book, instead of Fregley wrestling Greg, a kid named Stinky Williams wrestles him instead.
