He and Dougie Finch were the last two male members of the Safety Patrol before it became all-girls—according to Greg, they were both captains but were kicked off the Safety Patrols during the first week of school after winter break after they got caught getting into a snowball fight outside of one of the Kindergarten classrooms at the elementary school.
