Diary of a Wimpy Kid 5 is the fifth installment of the Wimpy Kid series. The cover of the book is purple. It will be released on November 1st, 2010. Originally, the book was speculated to talk about Greg's last year in middle-school, but apparently, it talks about a different topic.

The plot of this book is about Greg and Rowley's friendship. A picture of the book shows Rowley sweating, holding his backpack, and on his backpack is a 5 that is purple.
