Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Meltdown

The cover of the book is purple with an icy font that says "The Meltdown." It has a picture of Greg in a snowman with the sun in the background melting the snow.
It was confirmed that a 13th book would be made by Jeff Kinney via his Twitter account in a response to a fan question. [1] It was later officialy announced on the Diary of a Wimpy Kid Website and with an article by Publishers Weekly being shared by Jeff Kinney on his Twitter account. [2]
